![]() ![]() I personally wouldn’t recommend this to my 30-some-year-old peers but maybe to middle schoolers who would be interested in a story using more Chinese mythology. She remains true to the character of Cinderella and this. I eventually got used to the male voices by the voice actor, but I didn’t really like the yelling because her voice sounded strained like she was losing her voice, but maybe that’s safer than actual yelling for people who wear headphones. Elizabeth Lim’s previous Twisted Tale, Reflection, is my favorite so far in the series and So This is Love is another exciting read. The last 5 chapters are the best and most interesting. ![]() It took me a long time to finish the book, because I felt stuck in Dante’s Purgatorio, but I finally made it out. I liked the setting, minor characters or antagonists, and challenges met by the protagonists.
